Midas Care has been providing the highest standards of private and funded domiciliary care to the Cambridgeshire community for over 25 years. As a family run independent company, we pride ourselves on applying genuine values to the business of looking after those who need assistance to remain at home independently.
At Midas Care, we tailor our service to each individual client to ensure that every effort is made to guarantee all our service users and their families receive an exemplary service whatever our involvement.
As one of Cambridgeshire County Council’s strategic partner for care, Midas Care works and liaises with social services on a daily basis. Our commitment to quality and care has played an important part in our long history and success. Midas Care is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission and, as an active member of the United Kingdom Homecare Association, we remain compliant to both local and national legal requirements. Our recent shortlist in the Great East of England Care Awards, Home Care Worker of the Year category demonstrated our support, dedication and commitment to both our service users and staff alike.
Our head office is based in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire and we currently operate across four of the five Cambridgeshire districts for hourly care and across East Anglia for those requiring live-in care. Midas Care has a balanced workforce, currently caring for over 300 service users and delivering in excess of 7,500 visits every week.
Midas Care is a family-run, local agency and we pride ourselves on knowing our care workers and the environment in which they work. At Midas Care, you, the care team, are people first and employees secondly. We endeavour to look after all our staff as we don’t believe that people can care to their best ability if they are unhappy in their role.
We manage our care packages through a team approach and, wherever possible, we provide a consistent service for each service user. This allows a trusting relationship to be formed between service users and a small number of team members, meaning there is little impact on the client’s wellbeing during periods of staff training and holidays. This approach also provides regular work for carers even when a customer is taken to hospital at very short notice.
