DEPARTMENT OF CLINICAL NEUROSCIENCES X-RAY Service

The Department of Clinical Neurosciences has an international reputation for the management of neurological disorders, providing a supra regional neuroscience service to the population of South East Scotland. We have close links with the University of Edinburgh, Napier University and Queen Margaret University College with whom we will offer Neuroscience Nursing Modules. The Department takes a pro-active approach to towards meeting the personal and professional development needs of individual members of staff.

We currently have a vacancy for a Band 5 Staff Nurse in the Neuroradiology Department. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team. The position is based in the Neurointerventional suite, duties include scrubbing and assisting in interventional procedures. Participation in the on-call rota is essential. You will also rotate through the CT and MRI unit. The post includes an extended role in male catheterisation and cannulation/IV additive duties.

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as training will be offered. Applications from newly registered nurses will be considered.
