Our client is a healthcare communication agency who is seeking an Account Director to lead the strategic direction across a portfolio of products. In partnership with the Medical Writing team and external experts, you will provide account direction to ensure that projects exceed client expectations and are delivered to budget.

Provide strategic solutions to clients and support to team members and other colleagues, based on the commercial needs of the business
Ensure the delivery of a range of high-quality medical communication materials, through a range of channels including slide kits, meeting reports, regulatory documents, websites and apps
Build strong working relationships with clients and grow existing accounts
Lead and manage a team of Medical Writers, Editors and Account Managers
Take ownership of financial forecasting and reporting of designated accountsRequirements:
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a biological sciences discipline
5 years of experience at a Medical Communications Agency
Located in the United Kingdom
Previous experience in creating innovative strategic programs for clients gained in a medical communications environment is a must
Experienced in coaching, mentoring or managing others
Experience with identifying and leading business development opportunities
