ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR
West Molesey (KT8)
Permanent Position 35 – 40 hours per week
Rate of pay £10.00 – £12.00 per Hour
WE ARE CURRENTLY SOURCING APPLICANTS - ACTIVITES COORDINATOR FOR A PRIVATELY OWNED STATE-OF THE ART RESIDENTIAL DEMENTIA CARE HOME THAT PROVIDES CARE AND SUPPORT FOR OLDER PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMER’S & RELATED ILLNESSES IN WEST MOLESEY, SURREY.
£10.00 TO £12.00 PER HOUR (DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE)

The Residential Dementia Care Home provides a high quality service in a friendly environment, so that all residents can live their lives their way. Care is delivered to suit the needs of the individual always with respect, dignity and kindness.
What is the job?
An Activities Coordinator is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respecting their independence.
The Activities Coordinator role will include a number of tasks such as:
1-1 Sessions with the Service User
Group Sessions
Organising Daily Activities and Outings
Complete weekly and monthly timetables of activities
Organise Special Arrangements for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Easter and Christmas.
Arranging Visits
Light Exercises with Service User
Board Games
Arts and Crafts
Puzzles
Knitting
Gardening
Sing-a long
News Paper/ Book Reading
Shopping
What we are looking for in a role of Activites Coordinator:
Our clients expect and look for qualities of an individual’s character - areas like kindness, honesty, friendliness, passion, good communicator, both team player and a person with individual aptitude. Being able to think and make decisions under pressure, be positive when the chips are down and always keep a smile will all help secure your next job.
