Leaders In Care is looking for an Addictions Nurse to work full-time at a specialist service in Manchester, and the salary on offer is up to £30,500 per year. Our client's drug and alcohol addiction service is based within prison settings, inpatient detox and in the community, and the company is ranked in the list of 'inclusive top 50 UK employers'.
They need a qualified nurse - from NHS or private sector in hospitals, paramedics, nursing homes and community roles - to work 35 hours a week. Days only: 7am-15.30 with no evenings or nights, covering five days out of seven including weekends and bank holidays.
To apply, you must have the relevant nursing qualifications (RGN/RMN) and a current NMC Pin. Our client will consider all levels of experience, including newly qualified nurses, and offers preceptorships. Addictions experience is not essential, but you must be able to show your interest in the field of nursing, how you've gained experience and how you've come to be interested in drug and alcohol recovery services.
As an RN in the Rochdale, Manchester prison service team, you'll:
Work closely with offenders, offering medical interventions and clinical therapies to support their journey from dependence to freedom
Undertake clinical assessments, and manage treatment care plans
Collaborate with your nursing team, support workers, the wider prison team and across the group to provide innovative services, delivering optimal outcomes
