ADHD Specialist Pharmacist – Remote Working Opportunity job in Cowes at Chase Medical

We have an interesting opportunity available for Independent Prescribing Pharmacists to join a well-renowned, private organisation in Hampshire, on a fixed term or permanent basis.

The team is looking for a Pharmacist who has experience in treating patients with ADHD. The patients will have been assessed thoroughly via the service and directed for pharmacology management of their condition, which is where you could step in!

The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing, titrating and prescribing ADHD medication and providing advice to patients on how to manage their condition. They will be confident in assessing therapeutic efficacy and potential side effects of the medication prescribed, and have a clear understanding of the management of ADHD in adults, via the prescribing pathway.

You will be joining a small team within this new service, assisting other ADHD specialist consultants, offering 4-6 hours per fortnight. These hours are subject to change as the service grows, and you will have flexibility with your working days, so you can fit this role alongside other commitments!

This role is remote, however on occasion, you will be required to visit the full team in person, on the Isle of Wight!

Employment Package to include:

Home-based working

£28.23 per hour

25 days' A/L allowance + bank holidays (pro rata)

Pension contribution

Excellent peer clinical Support.

Application Requirements:

GPhC Registration

Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in either community or

primary care.

Independent Prescribing qualification

Experience of autonomous patient consultation

Experience working with mental or neurodevelopmental health conditions (such as ADHD or similar), or an equivalent specialist setting, is desirable.
