Chase Medical is currently recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner to work within a GP Surgery in Saltash. This a full-time position with 30 - 37 hours a week spread across 5 days, however there would be flexibility on hours and days for the right candidate.

The practice is a lovely family practice in the outskirts of Plymouth. There is a varied patient demographic with around 12,000 on the patient list with a mix of younger families and older patients. There are 6 GP's, 5 Practice Nurses and 4 Healthcare Assistants at the practice and you will be made to feel right at home from day one. The practice is easily accessible and has free parking.

The salary for this position is variable and will depend on your skill set and experience however, they are looking at offering £21 - £30 per hour. The package also includes 5 weeks holiday + Bank Holidays off, Pension and Indemnity are on also included in the employment package.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will show that you can work autonomously in clinic. You will need a MSc in Advanced Practice, as well as experience with Minor Illness and Injuries. You will be treating both walk in patients and pre booked appointments so being able to assess, diagnose, treat and then refer when necessary is important. A Prescribing Qualification is essential for the position.
