Job Description

Are you an experienced RGN with an Anaesthetics qualification or Operating Department Practitioner looking for a new pemanent opportunity with a fantastic employer? Do you have Anaesthetics & Recovery experience and are looking to pursue or progress a career within private healthcare? If so this could be the perfect opportunity for you!     TTM Healthcare is proud to be working alongside one of the country's largest providers of private healthcare to recruit an ODP/ Theatre Practitioner  for their busy theatre department, based at their modern and technologically advanced hospital in Oxford.     This is an excellent opportunity to work in a successful hospital. You will be part of a multi disciplinary team who work together seamlessly to provide the best care possible to their patients. The hospital specialises in gynaecology, orthopaedics and weight loss surgery alongside a number of other areas.     As a valued member of their theatre team you will work alongside a number of other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible to your patients. Your duties will include (but not be restricted to): To provide day to day accountable clinical supervision, with responsibilities including all or most of the following:   To deliver high quality patient-focussed care through the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of a collaborative programme of care which is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate. To support the department in the achievement of all clinical governance requirements and participate in audit reviews. To undertake risk assessment and actively manage outcomes within the remit of their responsibilities. To take charge of a shift, ensuring the co-ordination and delivery of all work activities within area of responsibility during that time. Ensure work is carried out efficiently and to agreed working practice and protocols The applicant must be an excellent communicator/team worker and must be flexible and motivated. In order to be a suitable candidate for this position you must have an HCPC registration and previous experience working as an ODP in a theatre setting. Orthopaedics or Gynaecology experience would be preffered.     In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with basic salary of up to £38,000 (depending on experience), a generous holiday allowance, pension, private health cover and other benefits.
