As an Analytical Development Scientist, you will be part of a busy team providing a high quality analytical support service to the wider business. This is a great opportunity to work for a pharmaceutical company who have created a centre of excellence and constantly focus on driving innovation and using cutting edge techniques in their science.

Key Responsibilities

* Providing high quality analytical support utilising (U)HPLC and GC for drug substance & formulation samples

* Method development (LC-MS and NMR) and write up/reports

* SOP process work

* Formulation development and prototypes

* Project work, including representing the team at internal meetings as required

* Log and maintain laboratory records electronically

Key Experience required:

* PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Analytical Development or Analytical Chemistry

* Proven experience in analytical support/laboratory based testing in a pharmaceutical business

* Strong communication and writing skills

* Method development experience
