The Acute Medicine Unit is a growing team – we have expanded significantly over the past few years and are currently running an Acute Medicine Consultant led service 7 days a week.

This is a new post to work closely with the Acute Medicine Consultants to support delivery of care by senior clinical decision makers, both on the Acute Medical Unit and running a general medicine short stay ward.

So, what can you bring to the team?

  • You will be a proven clinician with the demonstrable ability of working in acute/general medicine
  • You will be able to enhance the skills mix of our Senior Decision making team
  • You will be required to reside not more than 30 minutes travel by road from Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for on-call purposes
  • Experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent is essential
  • And of course, you will have full registration with the GMC

Salary Range: £56,133 - £92,401
