Winner Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Hearing Aid Audiologist to join a leading Optical and Hearing Care Company, the role will be based in Bedfordshire. 

As the Hearing Aid Audiologist, you will be providing Diagnostic Audiology and Rehabilitation services and, where appropriate, to dispense hearing aids to members of the general public with an identifiable hearing loss

Key responsibilities of the Hearing Aid Audiologist will be:

• To liaise with branch managers to ensure hearing business is successful and to motivate and train branch staff to book hearing screening checks
• Deal with direct, indirect and NHS enquiries
• Handle all user and service call enquiries/requests
• Maintain an effective appointment diary
• Complete any administration required
• Promote the services of the company
• Compiling with HCPC Standards, BSA recommended procedures (BSA procedure guide), BAA guidelines, Company guidelines (Company Handbook), Company administration procedures
• To undertake consultations with customers on company premises, associated outlets’ premises or any other premises as required
• To deal with any concerns or complaints sensitively and in a timely manner to avoid escalation
• To attend relevant training and development courses in order to maintain and expand skills and knowledge appropriate to your scope of practice whilst ensuring compliance with HCPC CPD requirements
• To be responsible for maintaining your CPD records in a form acceptable to the HCPC
• Where required, to supervise the work of, and offer guidance and advice to, other company personnel on all aspects of hearing aid dispensing and branch work
• All other company procedures and guidelines informed to you throughout your employment
• To commit to the company’s mission of providing the highest levels of clinical care, service and aftercare to all customers
• To act in the best interests of customers and with honesty and integrity
• To provide Diagnostic Audiology and Rehabilitation services and, where appropriate, to dispense hearing aids to members of the general public with an identifiable hearing loss
• To promote best practice
• To be competent in the management of customer information
• To be competent in all areas of dispensing and customer aftercare
• To operate in line with national, local and company policies, procedures and current legislation at all times
• To liaise with other healthcare professionals where necessary
• To ensure that you are familiar with, and at all times comply with, the Company’s policy relating to the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults which can be found on the Company Procedures Manual.
Qualifications, training and experience required:
• Experience within a similar role
• HCPC or RCC registered

Salary for this role is circa £32,000

Benefits include £4,000 car allowance per annum, and uncapped commission
