We are looking for a technician to work in our aseptic unit at Hammersmith Hospital.

Your main role will be to assist in the provision of cytotoxic chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition and clinical trials within our licensed aseptic units.

In conjunction with our other team members you will ensure that the aseptic service is provided to chemotherapy and nutrition patients across the trust to a high standard.  This will include compounding of chemotherapy, clinical trials and parenteral nutrition. Aseptic training will be provided.

Specific roles will include:

  • Processing cytotoxic, PN and trial worksheets.
  • Undertake the compounding of aseptically prepared products.
  • Supervision and Training of Pharmacy Assistants and Pre-registration Pharmacy Technicians.
