Band 5 Theatre Practitioner
Applications are invited from Registered Nurses (Adult/Paediatric) or Operating Department Practitionersfor these fantastic posts at the Birmingham Children's Hospital. As a leading tertiary paediatric centre the hospital performs a wide range of acute and specialised surgery including complex cardiac surgery, liver and renal transplantation, and as major trauma centre has a busy Emergency Department receiving patients who are transferred directly to our Theatres. The Birmingham Children's Hospital site has just opened Waterfall House, a new facility with state-of-the-art Theatre facilities and fantastic ward areas. The hospital has 31 bedded paediatric intensive care unit and is expanding its critical care facilities. Opportunities to learn and perform anaesthetic, scrub and recovery skills are available across our highly specialised paediatric surgical services.
