Band 5 developmental opportunities:
• foundation to critical care programme for you to build-up confidence and experience
• rotate across different critical care units to obtain experience specialties
• nationally recognised training using the critical care network ‘step’ competencies
• internationally recognised critical care course
• mentorship course
• simulation training
• nurses who are newly qualified can apply for the Capital Nurse programme where you will build your experience, knowledge and specific skills in critical care. This is a scheme specifically for nurses in London.

Our three critical care units cover a wide-range of specialities which include:
major trauma, neurosurgery, neurology, cardiac surgery, cardiology, hepatobilary haematology, cancer and renal.
