Cardiac Critical Care Unit, Hammersmith Hospital
Staff Nurse Band 5
Laying the critical foundations for excellence
“I have been a patient at Hammersmith since 1963 and the entire cardiology team have kept me alive against all odds. I’ve even been well enough to indulge in skiing, football, badminton and swimming. I have slowed down now but my care is – and has always been – fantastic. I am forever grateful.” ex-patient, February 2019
Our Cardiac Critical Care Unit has 16 Level 2/3 beds and offers a wide range of critical care experience following cardiac and thoracic surgery as well as recovery following specialist cardiology procedures.
