The Role

Neonatal Sister Band 6

Salary:£30,401 - £37,267 per annum

Full Time 37.5hrs per week

Shifts: 12.5hrs Day/Night shifts, weekends and bank holidays

The Princess Alexandra Hospital- Harlow Site

We are one of the Local Neonatal unit within Essex. With an increasing birth rate of >4200 deliveries the Neonatal unit is flexing to meet the needs of our growing population. Our Maternity unit was awarded an outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in 2016.

There is a strong support network within the organisation and more recently our focus has been on providing a safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led environment for all our patients, visitors and staff. We recognise and acknowledge the importance of providing opportunities for learning and development by providing training and support for staff where specific needs have been identified. We believe that providing excellent education, training and development will ensure our staff is well equipped to deliver the best and safest care possible.

We are strongly involved in the East of England Operational Delivery Network, actively contributing to pioneering work influencing practices across the East of England Neonatal Networks as well as Nationally.

Are you a Qualified in speciality Neonatal Nurse with experience of working within a neonatal environment, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge with the opportunity to enhance your leadership, management and professional development?. For this role you will need to have current NMC registration and post registration experience. Have completed the Qualified in Speciality Neonatal course or equivalent. Mentorship/teaching qualification is desirable.

Experience of working in a neonatal Environment is essential.
