30hrs per week

As an Occupational Therapist delivering NHS services with us you will receive AfC 22/22 salary of between £31,365 and £37,890 experience dependent and terms and conditions including an NHS pension. You will have a Degree in Occupational Therapy and have your HCPC registration.

As the Band 6 Occupational Therapist working within the Intermediate Care team, you will completing complex assessments and interventions for patients in their own homes, this can be at times of crisis to prevent an admission to hospital, to complete a Falls assessment or to assess and provide equipment so patients are able to remain independent at home. You will also be assessing patients with longer term conditions, and neuro experience would be desirable. You will support the junior members of the team qualified and non qualified and support the team lead and service manager to deliver an excellent Rehab service. You will be based in Surrey Heath within the Intermediate Care team, where there is great opportunity for joint working with the wider MDT.

We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You’ll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You’ll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity.
