Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist based in the Berkshire area looking to work for a forward thinking quality driven CAMHS hospital? Then please read on, we are recruiting for a Band 7 or Band 8a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to work in the UKs largest specialist Hospital for inpatient CAMHS, serving NHS funded patients.

The successful applicant will be a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and will be keen to apply their existing skills to working in a Tier 4 setting with young people and their families. The successful applicant will have the chance to work alongside a leading team of clinical experts that is regarded as one of the most specialist CAMHS teams in the UK.

This exciting and dynamic role will place you at the heart of a clinical team, working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals. We are recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) position but would consider applicants with a preference for part-time hours. You will be paid a band 7 / 8a salary of up to £44,245pa

If you were currently doing this Band 7 / 8a Clinical Health Psychology job, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

Participating in the assessment clinic, providing initial assessments and diagnoses
Providing family-based treatment and evidenced-based treatments to young people
Undertaking direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions and formulating treatment plans
Working alongside a team of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Family Therapists and Systemic Practitioners, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Creative Therapists, and Occupational TherapistsTo apply for this clinical psychologist position, you will need:

Possess Post-graduate doctorate level training in Clinical Psychology
Be a HPC registered Clinical Psychologist
Have a strong commitment to advocating for young people and families and ensuring that their needs and wishes remain at the centre of their care plans.In return for your expertise and empathetic approach, you will receive a Band 7 Salary of £41,808pa, Sick Pay, Enhanced annual leave and much more.
