Fulfil your potential in hospitals that make history:

With five world-renowned hospitals, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is full of opportunity if you are looking to develop your healthcare career.

We are an NHS Trust of 10,000 people, providing care for over a million patients from north west London and beyond every year. We have a rich heritage and an ambitious vision for the future of our patients and local communities.

With our partners, Imperial College London, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, we form Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre, one of 11 academic health science centres in the UK, working to ensure the rapid translation of research for better patient care and excellence in education.

We are proud of our heritage in innovation and we are early adopters of new insights in technologies, techniques and treatments for improving health.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join the friendly and progressive inpatient pharmacy team at Charing Cross hospital.

The post involves working with a fabulous team at CXH dispensary with pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy assistants, MMPTs, pre-reg pharmacists and trainee technicians. In addition you will liaise with specialist pharmacists, clinical trial co-ordinators, specialist clinic staff and chemotherapy nurses to provide an extensive pharmacy service to Charing Cross hospital.

The position can be challenging so applicants must possess robust leadership skills, be adept communicators, organised and be able to support the development of their team. Most importantly, they must share our vision of improving the quality of the service we provide to patients.

With more than one million patient contacts each year, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country and, in partnership with Imperial College London, is the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC). The partnership brings together multi-disciplinary research and education from across all faculties at the College with the resources and critical mass of the Trust to advance discovery and innovation within healthcare. Our vision is to be a world leader in transforming health through innovation in patient care, education and research.

At Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust you can achieve extraordinary things with extraordinary people. You’ll be working with leading clinicians pushing boundaries in patient care. Become part of a vibrant team living our values - expert, kind, collaborative and aspirational. You’ll get an experience like no other and will fast forward your career.

Benefits include opportunities for career development, flexible working and wellbeing, plus a staff recognition scheme. Also, take advantage of optional benefits including the cycle to work and car lease schemes, season ticket loan or membership options for onsite leisure facilities.

All of our hospitals have quick transport access to the Westfield shopping and leisure centre, the West End and a range of local bars, cafes and restaurants - ideal for team socials!

Please ensure you check your emails regularly as this is how we will communicate with you throughout the recruitment process. If you are shortlisted you will be contacted by email and text message (if you provide a mobile contact number)
