Bank Speech and Language Therapist, Band 6

Bickerstaffe House within Ormskirk General Hospital

Are you an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to join our newly created virtual ward in West Lancashire working flexible bank hours?

As a Speech and Language Therapist within Virgin Care you’ll join a dedicated team who are focused on supporting our local community.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: undertaking assessment and management of patients, manage and prioritise referrals, advise, develop, assist and educate all appropriate staff on the management and care of patients and provide specialist speech and language therapy advice to Health Care Professionals within the Trust.

You will be HCPC registered, have experience working at a Band 6 level within adult services and have a full driving licence to complete your role in the community. Experience of working within the community will be highly regarded, as will experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
