An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join Taunton’s Community Hospital inpatient team at Dene Barton.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a compassionate and caring approach to their care delivery, working with patients who have undergone surgery or been medically unwell to support their rehabilitation. They should also have a genuine interest in nursing older people who may need encouragement to meet their full potential in order to return to their own homes.

The post offers an opportunity to gain experience in wound care, management of multiple medical co-morbidities and complex discharge planning and would be suitable for an experienced or newly qualified nurse looking to be part of a small friendly team of dedicated staff.

Dene Barton Hospital is in a beautiful rural setting on the edge of Taunton. It has extensive grounds and ample free car parking on site for staff and visitors. Informal visits to the hospital are very much encouraged.

*This role will include an induction period at the nearby Wellington Hospital, where you will be joining the existing team who are looking forward to returning to Dene Barton Hospital when it re-opens.
