Job Description

Oakleaf are currently looking for a bed manager to work out of our acute mental health hospital based in Mundesley. We own and operate a number of hospitals and services across the UK ranging from Acute Mental Health, Residential Services, Supported Living and Acquired Brain Injury.
We are looking for someone to oversee the bed management of our services based in the Midlands, Norfolk and Berkshire. This will include liaising with commissioners, managers, hospital directors and senior members of staff.
Must have excellent time management skills and an eye for detail. Will also be required to update our web developers of any changes needed to our websites etc..
Will require occasional travel to the services (Covid permitting)

Experience
* Must have experience of working to targets within a performance management framework.
* Previous experience in a health setting.
* Previous experience of developing and monitoring spreadsheets.
* Previous experience of offering excellent customer service
* Excellent IT skills including word and excel.
* Good organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good knowledge of clinical terminology.
* Ability to implement administration systems and databases.
* Ability to generate ideas and respond quickly to changes in practice
* Self motivated and a positive thinker.
* Works to deadlines.
* Ability to work with a wide range of people.
* Supportive to colleagues of all disciplines.
