Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a CAMHS Crisis/Eating Disorder Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse (RMN/CPN/RNLD) Band 5/6/7 to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Crisis or Eating Disorder Team based out of Tower Hamlets in Greater London. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is on an ongoing locum however this can most likely be made permanent if the successful candidate desires.
We are looking for highly motivated and highly skilled Band 5/6/7 mental health professionals, to work with young people in the community, who are experiencing mental health crisis or require support with an eating disorder. You will be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. You will possess excellent liaison and communication skills with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and risk planning in the home and community environments. These roles within existing provision will provide outreach crisis or eating disorder support to Children and Young People and their family, alongside their core CAMHS care coordinator/involved professionals. The post holder will have a key role in assessments and providing therapeutic interventions to families. Applicants should preferably have some experience of working with children or people with mental health crisis or eating disorders although this is not essential as training and supervision for this role will be provided.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £19.31 - £35.31 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
