Salary: £8.73 per hour and benefits

Description: We are proud to be working with one of the UK’s largest independent health care providers who care for more than 10,000 people across the UK, they provide long-term and respite residential and nursing care for older people and are an award winning, sector leader in specialist dementia care.

They need extraordinary people to support their vulnerable residents within their care home in Chesterfield. 

They have various opportunities available on short and long term contracts with up to 33hrs available per week..

As one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK it’s important for them to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences.  If you’re a kind, warm and compassionate person and like to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives, then working as a Care Assistant will be the right role for you. 

You will be delivering quality personal care to each of their residents, your daily tasks will include supporting them with washing, dressing, eating and maintaining their hygiene, as well as ensuring they feel part of life in the home.  This will see you providing care, warmth and kindness to help make a difference. You also will develop relationships with their residents’ relatives which will support you in understanding their needs more and developing that personal care.

Job Requirements

If you are a hardworking team player who wants to work in a thriving community, understand what is important to those you are caring for and make sure their lives are as happy as they can be, then the role of a Care Assistant could be perfect for you.  If you possess these qualities then experience of working as a Care Assistant isn’t necessary.  They provide you with excellent learning, development and support opportunities, to equip you with the knowledge and skills to make a real difference in the role. Their Care Academy offers opportunities via digital learning and practical skills training and a range of career progression routes via their ‘Careership’ programme
