Grisedale Croft Residential Home provides a safe, caring and home from home environment for up to 13 residents with different levels of health care needs. Situated close to all facilities in the town of Alston, we offer residential care and community health beds for those who are elderly, frail or have dementia.
As a Relief Night Support Worker, you will be required to support our residents between 10pm and 7am. During this time you will be responsible for administering medication, ensuring all security checks are completed, dealing with emergencies and assisting our Service Users with any of their needs. It is a challenging role, with a great deal of responsibility, and we are looking for someone who has good responses, the ability to adapt and can make safe and confident decisions to support the wellbeing of our residents.
Who we are looking for:
We're looking for someone that is passionate about looking after people and supporting our resident's wellbeing. The ideal candidate would have an NVQ2 in Health and Care, but we are also happy to support candidates through this training. As a Relief Night Support Worker, you will be a key support to the team, working at times when you are really needed and as such, we are looking for someone who is responsible, considerate and adaptable.
