Available Hours: Permanent - Full Time - 40 hours per week.
The Catering Manager will manage the Catering provision within the home/scheme to deliver a quality service and to ensure that all residents' nutritional needs are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the efficiency, hygiene and safety in the catering area and to organise and supervise the work of other staff working in the kitchen and to maintain the correct HACCP principles in all catering areas and ensure all legislative standards are met. The successful candidate will help maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the Values of Methodist Homes deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff and to be a part of the Home/scheme senior team with regards to implementing the annual catering business plan as part of the Home/scheme plan and also to work with the MHA Hospitality team to help ensure constant quality development within the catering service.
