Our well known and respected client is looking for an experienced full-time Chemotherapy Nurse to join a nationally recognised specialist provider. This community based critical nursing role is located in the Colchester catchment area. Your salary is up to £34,816 per annum plus fully expensed company car and fuel card or £4250 car allowance per annum plus mileage.

As one of our country's front line heroes working as a Chemo Nurse, you'll be deserving of the following excellent nursing benefits:

£3000 bonus upon completion of probation
NMC fees paid for
Contributory pension scheme and private healthcare cover

You'll typically see 4 to 5 patients per day and work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical partners. As the full-time Registered Nurse in the Colchester catchment area paying up to £34,816 per annum, you will be working for a company which provide a catalogue of care services to patients nationwide, with this particular role mainly focusing on administering chemotherapy in the comfort of the patient's home. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide excellent standards of education and clinical care.

As a Chemo nurse with an active NMC PIN, you will have:

Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
A full UK driving licence
Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of chemotherapy, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation and clinical assessments

You'll need to be a natural listener and communicator and a dedicated healthcare provider. Using your healthcare experience, empathetic skills and broader nursing experience, you'll be one of the primary sources of information and advice for patients and their families. Treating people with respect and dignity is a crucial element for this Chemotherapy Nurse job.
