Permanent Support Workers Required for Children & Young Persons Service

We are currently representing a client who have some amazing opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join their team as Support Workers in a service for Children and Young People with Disabilities located in the March area. 

We are looking for experienced people with a caring and calm approach to help support and empower the children and young people. You need to be calm, considerate, and resilient as the children can present complex emotional and behavioural needs.

At the service a main aim is to enable the Children and Young People to be as independent as possible within a fun and caring environment.

The ability to work on a rota basis will be essential as the role will include evening, weekend work along with sleep in’s.

Candidates should also hold a full valid driving licence.

Qualifications

It is desirable for the candidates to have a relevant Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce Diploma or equivalent, or be prepared to complete one within the role.

The service prides itself on being an inclusive and supportive employer and recognise that working in care, although incredibly rewarding, is not without its challenges.

Candidates will receive comprehensive training, free meals while on duty, have excellent career progression opportunities, and be working in a warm and welcoming work environment – amongst many other things.

Additional Information:

Hours: 38 per week plus 2 x sleep ins

The current full time salary scale for this position is £19,344 to £19,691 per annum, depending on qualifications. Sleep in payments are in addition to the advertised salary.
