Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Children Support Worker to work for Hertfordshire County Council. The role is to work within BRIGHT SKIES HOUSE who provide their service to help support children between 7 and 17 years and presenting with a range of needs which may include but not exclusively significant trauma, mental health issues, risk of exploitation, challenging behaviour and/or significant attachment issues. Children may also have a diagnosis of ASD and /or learning needs. Bright Skies House provides a safe, caring and nurturing group of 3 individual homes, within one building where children and young people can start to feel a level of security that will enable them to work through their feelings, past experience and trauma. There will be one YP per flat with two staff supporting at all times on rota. Shift times in the Home: Shift starts at 07.00am until 11.00pm, sleep in then 7.00am until 8.00am next day for handover. Saturday and Sunday start at 08.00am and finishing at 09.00am following the sleep in. Waking nights will be from 10.00p.m to 7.30 a.m. Our People in the service: Please see attached Staff Photos and Information. Additional Information •2 flats offering Medium to long term care. •1 flat offering an emergency bed for up to 6 weeks. 2 of the flats have 3 bedrooms and 1 has 2 bedrooms (inclusive of staff sleep in rooms).
