CLINICAL GOVERNANCE MANAGER
To be the primary point of contact for all aspects of clinical governance for the company in the UK and Ireland.
It would suit an effective leader with demonstrable knowledge of clinical governance, attention to detail and fairness in investigation and management of complaints and incidents as well as analysis of trends and themes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust clinical governance processes are in place and that effective learning and continuous improvement processes are imbedded across relevant areas of the organisation.
Ensure that all relevant procedures and policies are fit for purpose and that training is of the highest quality to ensure the best quality patient care.
Assess, monitor and review performance to ensure full compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) National Minimum Standards.
Responsible for the compilation and analysis of governance reports from all relevant areas of the organisation, providing root cause analysis, resolving any issues as supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Actively participate and be a key clinical governance resource in all aspects of the business
Engage with a range of senior stakeholders both clinical and non-clinical and will be responsible for clinical governance and assurance ensuring CQC readiness.
Ensuring that safeguarding and duty of candor responsibilities are embedded within the culture to ensure safety of patients are at the forefront of what the company does.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
Proven experience in leading and managing the clinical governance function in a healthcare organisation.
Have demonstrated the ability to strategise, implement and clinical governance initiative to ensure high standards.
Have demonstrated the ability to work in a matrix organisation and able to influence across a variety of functions.
Must be methodical and have excellent attention to detail.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
