Imaging Manager - Diagnostic Radiography | Birmingham, West Midlands

Salary up to £60,000 p/annum | Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours

We are supporting in the recruitment of an experienced Imaging Manager who has a proven track record supervising / managing a diagnostic radiography department. Ideally the successful person will have previously worked within a deputy or managing position.


  • Manging the overall Imaging Department (Diagnostic Radiography)
  • Ensure the smooth running of each department and that patient care is upheld.
  • Organisation of the day-to-day management of activities within the department.
  • Assess and implement techniques to ensure optimum quality images are always delivered
  • Demonstrate ability to utilise the Imaging related equipment and accessories correctly, ensuring any problems/faults are assessed and dealt with accordingly.
  • Conversant with the IT systems and ensure that accurate records are entered and maintained.
  • Participate in Governance programs including regular auditing and quality control.
  • Provide high standard of clinical service to the patient whilst adapting the procedure as applicable to the specific needs of the patient...
  • Work in accordance with the "Code of Practice for the use of Ionising Radiation" and IR(M)ER regulations.


  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography - a master's in management and leading would be advantageous
  • Current State Registration with HCPC.
  • Clinical Experience and technical knowledge across multi-modality departments.
  • Experience supervising and managing departments.
  • Private healthcare background would be desirable

  • X-ray
