Clinical Lead Nurse Intensive Care Central London     Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs       Up to £51,000 plus enhancements Are you an experienced Intensive Care Nurse looking for a new challenge?   Do you like the idea of working for a private hospital in state of the art facilities? TTM have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead based in Central London…   Client Information: Our client is one of London's leading private hospitals with over 30 years of experience providing world class healthcare. They offer services to inpatients, day case and outpatients and a range of specialties with rapid assessment, intervention and treatment. The hospital has undergone huge redevelopment to further expand the hospital and develop the services they offer making them truly specialist with the ability to offer cutting edge technology with world class disciplinary teams. Opportunities:       We are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Lead for the ITU unit at the hospital.  The unit comprises of a busy 24hour Critical Care facility with state of the art technology. They are able to offer care to Critical Care Level 2 & 3 patients and the patients admitted to the unit will have a variety of medical and surgical conditions and require complex multi-organ support. Reporting into the unit manager you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care is delivered to patients at all times. In the manager's absence you will oversee the day to day running of the unit, supervising all members of staff including AHP and medical officers. Your day to day will involve assessment of patients and delivery of care plans, being involved in ensuring budgets are adhered to while adequate stock is maintained, assisting the manager in the development, planning and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve the overall service. You will also be responsible for managing challenging situations and ensuring they are handled in the correct manner.   To be considered for this role you will:      
  • Experience of working in ITU at Senior level
  • Ideally experience of working in Liver, Cardiac, Neuro or General ITU
  • Post graduate qualification in ITU
  • Mentorship course and ALS
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Adhere to confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
