Here at Emergency Personnel we are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse within Bristol and surrounding areas. We have many service users all across the Bristol area and we are looking for highly skilled and determined individuals, looking to join our great clinical team.
Role Objectives:
* Undertake Assessments, Risk Assessments, and relevant assessments appropriate to client’s need and use own knowledge/ skills as a nurse assessor,
* Assist with hospital discharge arrangements and the development of new packages of nursing/ care,
* In conjunction with the client, family and informal carers exercise own professional judgement to refer to other than health professionals when necessary, GP, local or specialist hospitals etc.
* Respond to the clients, staff and families in nursing/ care situations providing advice, expertise and guidance by telephone and when appropriate in person,
* Ensure the accuracy of all clinical records and data completed within the allocated care packages,
* Conduct and record field visits and assist the Clinical Lead Department with one-to-one performance reviews (spot checks) with each member of staff within Complex Nursing Packages and ensuring care plans are always up to date,
* Identify training needs for staff and ensure training reflects developments in area of complex care delivery and clinical management,
* To comply with local safeguarding policies and procedures,
* Follow an On - Call out of hours Rota,
* Attending quarterly review meetings,
* Making sure all MAR charts, charts and documents are transcribed upon client’s discharge and are up to date. Ensuring all information received upon discharge matches up existing care plans,
* Ensure to communicate your diary to the Clinical Lead Manager,
* To take part in investigations where clinical knowledge is needed,
* Need to be able to deal with complaints/concerns effectively and promptly following our procedures,
* Auditing and quality assurance, to take part with paperwork auditing such as observation charts, MAR charts and log sheets etc. and take appropriate action for identified gaps/errors,
* New business development: proactively source new clients and seek to develop and grow the business,
General standards:
● To adhere to the Emergency Personnel staffing policies and procedures,
● Contribute to external regulatory and compliance inspections,
● To adhere to company data protection policy and procedures,
● To report any area of clinical concern to the Clinical Lead Manager and
escalate as per companies’ policy,
● This is an outline job description which may be subject to change in consultation with the post holder.
The Successful Candidate:
* Passionate about their role, committed to the highest standards of care and compliant with CQC regulations,
* Valid NMC PIN/ registration,
* Knowledge of CQC and NMC policies,
* Ambitious to develop and progress,
* At least two years experience in the complex nursing sector,
* Clinical Complex Nursing experience,
* An ability to communicate effectively at all levels,
* Good report writing skills,
* Comfortable in analyzing service outcome information and problem-solving,

* High energy level, self-starter, and ability to handle conflicting and competing priorities,
● Computer literate,
● Full UK Driving License essential.
