Post: Clinical Manager for Nutrition and Dietetic Service

Professional and Clinical Lead for Primary and Community Care

Band: 8a

Base: Victoria House

Applicants must be dietitians registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Senior clinical Dietitians with managerial experience are invited to apply to undertake the recently formed professional lead role for Primary and Community Care.

This is an excellent development opportunity for those wanting to take part in the management and shaping of the Nutrition and Dietetic service into the 2020’s with the emphasis on developing and changing the service provision to Primary and Community Care within ABUHB.

The broad role of the 8a Dietitian will be as follows:

  • Operational leader of a large service with multiple teams
  • Reviewer and reviser of service structures and approaches in response to changing need.
  • Skilled and experienced practitioner with breadth of skills and experience.
  • Leader of systemic change across the service.
  • Leader of projects for Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Measures teams’ performance and implements widespread change as required

Interested parties should be able to demonstrate they can meet the essential components of the person specification.

In order to optimise the potential to cover the vacancy, applications for full or part time commitment to the role/part(s) of the role will be considered.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
