Clinical Manager - 111 Call Centres

Location: Derby

Permanent and Full Time

Connaught are seeking a band 7/8 equivalent, Senior Nurse for this Clinical Manager role.

Summary of Clinical Manager role:

Leading the clinical delivery of all NHS 111 Services to a quality which is compliant with Clients contractual and organisational high standards.
Commitment to excellent patient care through telephone triage
The Clinical Manager will be leading an engaged and motivated team that is capable of meeting our client's high quality and effective-ness requirements in a sustainable way.
The Clinical Manager will be directing supportive performance management processes that enable excellent patient care to be maintained
Developing and maintaining the clinical workforce plans for the NHS 111 service to ensure the pro-vision of sufficient resource, of the necessary competence, at all times to deliver a high quality service

What the successful Clinical Manager will need to demonstrate:

Experience in delivery of urgent care and management of patient flow through an episode of telephone based care
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage change at a senior level
Highly developed leadership and people management skills
Ability to use initiative and problem solving skills
Effective time management with delegation and organisational skills
Ability to drive quality improvements
Flexibility to meet service needs
