If so, would you like the opportunity to work in a friendly, progressive multidisciplinary specialist community health team in East & North Hertfordshire?
The Community Assessment & Treatment Service in Hertfordshire is a multi disciplinary team of learning disability professionals including learning disability nurses, psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language therapists, psychologists, & arts therapists. We work together to support service users Specialist Learning Disability Health needs and hold a gatekeeping function to prevent unnecessary admission into our 10 bedded inpatient unit.
We currently have a secondment opportunity for a full time band 6 RNLD in our nursing team. The secondment opportunity is for 9 months on commencement in post. Our nursing team consists of a Nurse Team Leader, band 5 & 6 nurses & band 4 senior support workers.
You will have access to CPD opportunities and professional supervision to maximise your learning in this post. We have opportunities to access training in research based interventions for learning disability practice such as Positive Behaviour Support and evidence based approaches for people who have learning disabilities and personality disorders.
Due to the nature of the post, the successful candidate will need a Full Driving Licence and access to a car during working hours. (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving)
