Job Description:

Sugarman Mind is looking for Clinical Psychologists interested in picking up medico legal assessments for clients involved in car accidents and other event leading to trauma and PTSD. Clients are allocated depending on candidate availability - this is a role that can be worked around any other position, for additional income or experience.

Candidates will be required to complete assessments within 20 to 30 minutes, using a pre-created proforma to support Psychologists in gaining only the relevant information for any given client's case. Candidates will not be required to write their own reports, as these will be generated by a dedicated admin team using your assessment findings, however you will be required to sign the completed report to state you're happy for the result to be sent to the client.

You must be HCPC registered. This is a role that can be worked fully remotely, or in specific locations face to face if preferred.

Knowledge, skills and training:

HCPC registration with a license to practice
Valid Indemnity Certificate
Basic knowledge of PTSD and other mental conditions
To show understanding of patient confidentiality
Well-developed skills in communicating effectively with clients and other professionals
Basic understanding of Medico Legal and role of a medical expert.Personal qualities and attributes:

Have a positive attitude
Show an empathetic approach to service usersPossess:

Good communication skills (Written, Verbal and telephone).
Organizational skills, eg: Time Management, Ability to prioritize.
