Belmont Recruitment are currently working on a Clinical Psychologist role based towards the Macclesfield area. The role is initially based on a 6 month contract but there is an expectancy that this will be an ongoing assignment, there is also a possibility that this will lead to a permanent role in the future.
Job Spec:
You will be providing a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to clients of the Learning Disability Services, you should have prior experience working within this area.
As a Clinical Psychologist you will work across the full range of settings to provide specialist psychological and neuro-psychological assessments of clients referred to the team/service based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client’s care.
Pay:
£29.00/h
Hours:
37.5 per week
Essential requirements:
- Be a qualified Psychologist
- Possess a high level of clinical experience within learning disabilities
- Have experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Be committed and dedicated to the role.
- Satisfactory Disclosure completion upon successful application
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
