Paediatric Burns Centre

Clinical Research Fellow

6 month fixed term maternity leave cover

We warmly invite applications for a full time post as Clinical Fellow in the Paediatric Burns Centre at Birmingham Children's Hospital. This is a middle grade post with responsibilities, training and experience equivalent to a Specialist Trainee in Plastic Surgery. The successful applicant will have broad experience in acute and elective general Paediatric plastic surgery.

This post will include daily ward rounds and research responsibilities. There is no on-call commitment to this post. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in audit/research.

The Department of Paediatric Plastic Surgery provides secondary care for the population of southern and central Birmingham, tertiary care for the West Midlands and Supra Regional care for Burns and Cranio-Facial Surgery. There is close working relationship within the team and a very supportive and educational environment.

This is a full-time post but part-time hours will be considered.
