Job Description - Clinical Services Manager

Our private cosmetic hospital based in Manchester are looking for a Clinical Services Manager to join our growing team
To strategically plan the clinical services, responsible for day to day organisation and Management of clinical departments. Providing clear direction and leadership to all clinical and Non Clinical Staff, whilst supporting the initiatives of the organisation. Taking responsibility to lead the department under the direction of the business head.
Responsible for the deployment, supervision and teaching of staff within the clinical area
Supporting the hospital and clinic management team in providing clinical leadership. The role is responsible for development, motivation and performance of all clinical Staff, ensuring the achievement of CQC Standards as required for nursing services in the hospital accepting planned surgical admissions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide leadership in the development of clinical services by ensuring the use of evidence based practice and clinical standards within nursing
Alert the business head to any operational or governance issues within nursing services
Ensure that clinical pathways are delivered to the standard and quality expected by the hospital, ORGANISATIONS'S and external regulator
Support the other head of departments in developing collaborative alliances with all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of person-centered care.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement which focuses on the provision of high quality safe and effective
Develop appropriate mechanisms for accessing the views and facilitating the involvement of service users and carer's in the development and delivery of clinical Governanc
Ensure high standards of governance, including assessment, quantification and management.
Support relevant Multi-Disciplinary Meetings (MDMs) in the delivery of peer review measures and in the participation of the peer
To ensure improvement to services through research based treatments and pract
Ensure that audit is undertaken on a systematic basis, and ensure that critical/adverse incidents and complaints are investigated and action plans developed in a timely manner.
Extensive experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Registered Nurse post or equivalent.
Previous experience within a Clinical Lead
Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situat
Previous experience within a Clinical Manage trial
Knowledge/S kills / Qualifications
Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically, managerially, preferably evidenced by certification R N with valid NMC Registrat
Robust understanding of Clinical Governance requirements for the
