Job Description

The services provided include community nursing, health visiting and a range of therapy services including physiotherapy, podiatry and speech & language. South Lakes CMHART (Community Mental Health Assessment and Recovery Team) is seeking a Clinical Team Leader. This a 30 hour 12month temporary contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be either a Nurse, Social worker or OT with the requisite professional registration.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership and people management skills and will work in partnership with the Team Leader, Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Psychological Therapists. This Leadership Group will work to their strengths and skills using job planning and peer support to ensure the CMHART is safe and well-led.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent mental health services and can support the team to achieve their potential. The CMHART works towards a Recovery Model and has clear care pathways.

Key responsibilities will include supervision and appraisal for staff, budget management, recruitment and management of staff, management of performance measures and ensure patients receive treatment in line with care pathway. You will be required to act as role model to junior colleagues and other professionals and be able to demonstrate a high level of decision making skills, as well as work independently, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be supported directly by senior colleagues and who will work alongside you to develop the service together.
