Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse (RGN) for a fantastic opportunity to work with a specialised provider of chemotherapy in patients' homes. As a direct result of COVID19 more and more cancer sufferers are requiring home treatments as the demand on the NHS is increasing more and more are being referred to home care. This position is covering the Cumbria area, Monday to Friday day times.

Package for Contract Community Chemotherapy Nurse

£30.00 to £35.00 per hour
Initial 3 month contract with extension highly likely
Working 3-5 days per week based on your preference Monday to Friday approx. 9-5
Claim 45p per mile in expenses
As Contract Community Chemotherapy Nurse You will

Offer treatments in people's home, 3 - 4 patients each day
Offering them a range of Haematological and solid tumour Chemotherapy treatments.
Receive patient list and medication at your home the night before along with a portable fridge for transportation of the medication the next day.
take blood samples from patients
Toxicity assessments
Oral and IV Chemo administration
Pump disconnections
Line care
IM/SC injections

To be successful as a As Contract Community Chemotherapy Nurse you must

Have a driving licence and full time access to your own car
Minimum 6 months recent experience administering Chemotherapy
Current NMC pin number
Able to start work within the next 4 weeks
