Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Community Mental Health Practitioner (Social Worker/CPN) Band 6 to join the Community Mental Health Team based out of Loughton in Essex. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The post holder excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sound understanding of current government legislation, demonstrate the ability to work as part of a MDT and provide high quality care with evidence based therapeutic assessments, interventions and completion of accurate and timely documentation. This role requires specialist skills in mental health assessment, risk assessment, safety planning and medication administration hence post registration experience with significant years of working with adults with mental health problems and a minimum 6 months of working with adults in a community setting is essential.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £25.00 - £27.00 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
