Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Community Support Worker / Health Care Assistant (SW/HCA) Band 3 to join the Community Nursing Team based out of Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
This role is to be an active member of this domiciliary rehabilitation team, providing short-term, high-quality care and support in a community environment. This will mean working without direct supervision carrying out tasks identified via personalised plans of care under the direction of the Nurses, Associate Practitioners, Physio and Occupational Therapists within the team. The team strive to promote independence and recovery following discharge from hospital, or to prevent unnecessary hospital admission by providing the right patient with the care as the right time.
A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes in this role is essential, all mileage while on shift will be compensated.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £11.16 - £13.16 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
