Our Community Support team is expanding and we are on the look out for some fantastic new Community Support Workers. The role is extremely varied and every day is different we wouldnt want it any other way.

The Community Support Worker role
Forget everything you think you know about Community support work. Working alongside adults with learning disabilities is creative work but most of all it can be really fun. And it's flexible too, some of the team start their day at 9am so there is flexibility for that ever-needed work/life balance.
You will need to be a car driver, but that doesnt mean you will spend all day in your car, our typical travel distances are short, you might be driving from Horley to Redhill or Crawley to Horsham. We pay competitive mileage rates, we also pay you for your travel time in between visits.
You will provide person centred support to a small group of people meaning you can build some truly great relationships, you wont spend the day visiting multiple people for short periods of time. The support will range from providing personal care at home to supporting with shopping, medical appointments, and the more fun kind of activities such as going to the cinema, heading out in the countryside for a long walk finished with a drink at the pub.
You don't need any specific experience (some of our best community support workers didn't). We can give you the skills - all we need from you is that energy and a strong sense of values. Training & Development
You may hold an NVQ L2 or L3 in social care - that's fabulous, although not required. We will support you to achieve one of those if you like.
Salary and Benefits
An hourly rate of £9.90 is on offer, which equates to £19,305 per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week).
We also offer the following NVQ salary enhancements:
- NVQ L2 H&S Care £500 a year (FTE)
- OR L3 £750 a year (FTE)
- OR L4 £1000 a year (FTE)
Peak Welcome Bonus
We are thrilled to be able to launch our new Peak Welcome Bonus. This welcome bonus will be payable to newly appointed employees who join us between 1st May 2022 and 31st July 2022.
1st instalment of £200 will be paid in your first payroll a thank you for choosing to join the team at Peak15.
2nd instalment of £200 will be paid after successful completion of your probation a thank you for your support during your probation period.
3rd instalment of £200 will be paid after completion of 18 months service a thank you for your ongoing support.
All payments are subject to satisfactory performance and are subject to PAYE. Please quote Peak Welcome in your application to ensure you are eligible for the bonus.
