Make a difference to an individual's life
In this role, you will be providing personalised care to a service user who is diagnosed with Autism and Severe Learning Disability. It will be your duty to help our service user access the community and live independently. Your various tasks will include, meal preparation, encouraging the service user with personal care tasks and providing emotional support as required.
Package is a 2:1 so you will not be alone and family are close by if needed.
Shifts: Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00 (this includes mileage pay).
As a Community Support Worker you’ll bring
You have an ability to provide care delivered with compassion and enthusiasm, while contributing positively to an individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing. You have a skill of understanding and encouraging people to live independent lives and be part of a local community.
- A desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need.
- At least 3 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one in the UK
- Comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility
- A valid Moving and Handling certificate.
- The right to work in the UK
