CNWL Hillingdon Child Development service has an exciting opportunity for fourConsultant Paediatricians in Community Child Heath with experience in neurodisability, child development and social paediatrics. The successful candidates will work within a well-established team providing clinics in the child development centre, local special schools and at a local children’s centre for children with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician to join an established and cohesive team of professionals including 2 Consultants , 1 Associate Specialist, 3 Speciality Doctors, Specialist Registrar and Foundation Year 1 Doctor working in Community Paediatrics. Our team also includes a Clinical Psychologist, Epilepsy Nurse Specialist and ASD Nurse Specialist.
The Community Paediatricians provide comprehensive services for children and young people who have a disability or significant additional health, social care or special educational needs.
Integrated MDT care is provided through co-location of integrated paediatric therapy services at the CDC. There are excellent established partnership relationships with the local authority, CAMHS, education services, wider community Hillingdon Community Providers and the local acute provider. There are close working relationships with the Early Years education service with joint and multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments.
We are working with service users and their families to ensure we develop our services to enhance pathways and are truly patient focused.

The appointee will take a full part in training, audit and staff meetings.
