Job Description

Working as a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist, you will provide excellent reproductive medicine care including appropriate investigation, synthesis of clinical data and advice on patient's treatment plans.

The Clinic expects to be a high performer in terms of the success rates with the intended target of >40% birth rate per embryo transfer for patients less than 38 years of age.

Client Details

Our client is a leading name within the fertility sector and provides a full spectrum of fertility services to clients across the UK, based out of London.
Their growth has been above market levels (HFEA anticipate 3%) and as a result, they are looking to recruit a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist.

As a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning and performance of all relevant aspects of IVF and donor IVF treatment cycles, IUI and donor insemination, including male and female surgery (sperm and egg retrievals, ultrasound and embryo transfer) as well as participating in all relevant aspects of egg donation and the egg sharing programme, which they conduct from their facility in London.
This is a high level-role working in a large fertility clinic and will give high-levels of exposure to the clinic owners and an opportunity to work with a high degree of autonomy where you are able to contribute to improving processes and procedures in order to continuously improve the excellent success rates the clinic already provides.

You will already be working as a Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist within the fertility sector and act as an ambassador to the role and status in the sector.

You will be aware of, and responsible towards the legislative framework governing ART and to ensure complete compliance with the paperwork and correspondence with patients, the HFEA, and the Clinic's Clinical Governance and Executive Committee.

Essentially, you will have a clear appreciation and aptitude for key management skills and the importance of teamworking, mutual support and respect in a multidisciplinary team.
