We are seeking a Cook to liaise with care staff to prepare, cook and serve balanced and nutritious food for the people we support, paying extra attention to medical, cultural, and religious requirements. You will also be expected to plan menus with the involvement of the individuals we support; keeping to a designated food budget.
An up to date qualification in food hygiene is essential and preferably an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification in Catering is desirable. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of providing a high quality catering service within a similar setting.
Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
