Job Description

Safehands Recruitment are looking for:

Individuals who have extensive care experience supporting clients with Learning Difficulties, Autism, Mental Health Conditions, and other Complex Severe behaviours that challenge the supported living service.

This role would suit someone who is calm, flexible and have the right caring values towards all clients to make a difference with their everyday living.

We recruit and select care staff who provide safe, high quality care support via the client’s person-centred care and who take pride in their work.

Your duties will include: –

To assist clients with personal care where required which may involve assistance with; Continence Requirements; Health and Medication requirements; Manual Handling; Eating and preparing meals; Handling personal possessions; entering the home, room, bathroom, and toilet
To provide evening drinks and snacks for clients as required to meet their individual plans
To support all clients in safely accessing facilities and activities within their home
Undertake all household activities to include cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cleaning of floors etc
To maintain records (e.g. care plans) where necessary, ensuring these are wholly accurate, up to date and completed in a timely manner
To ensure the home is secure, doors locked, windows closed, fire doors are closed, ground floor windows are secure; Ensure tele-care systems are activated
Work is on a rota system over 7 days with working hours of 9.30pm to 8.00am. - 40 -44 Hours Per Week

PAY RATES - £9.50ph - £10.50ph 

You will need to be a flexible employee as this position will require you work weekends and bank holidays as per the rota.
